BestsellerMorning face oil

Est. Lyon, 2019
Eight botanicals. Three rituals. Formulas we hand fill in small batches in our studio outside Lyon, because that is the only way we know they will do what we say they do.
The shop
We are not trying to be a brand of forty things. We made the four we use ourselves, every day, and we make them well. New things only come along when we have something real to add.

Our story
The skincare aisle had become a wall of promises. Twelve steps for clear skin. A new essential every season. Glossy bottles half full of ingredients we could not pronounce. We were tired of being marketed to, and tired of creams that did not do what they said they would.
So in 2019 we rented a small studio outside Lyon, found a formulator who had spent twenty years in the south of France pressing oils for a living, and started over. We made one serum. Then one cream. Then one balm. Each one took months because we would not release a thing until it worked on real skin, on the kind of week where you forget to use it half the time.
Today we are still small. Still in the same studio, with two more people than when we started. We still hand fill every bottle, still label them by hand, still answer the emails ourselves. We make four products because four is what we use and what we believe in. If we ever make a fifth, it will be because we could not help it.

Ingredients
We use the same eight botanicals across the whole range. They come from people we have met, in places we have been, and they arrive at the studio with a story. Here are four of them. The other four are on the back of every bottle.

Isparta, Turkey
Pressed from petals picked before sunrise in the Vallée des Roses. We use a slow cold press that takes a full day for thirty litres, because heat changes the smell and the smell is half the point.

Andalusia, Spain
Pressed from the leftovers of olive oil production so nothing goes to waste. The same molecule your own skin makes to keep itself soft, which is why it sinks in without any fuss.

Altai Mountains, Mongolia
Wild harvested, not farmed. A bright orange oil full of carotenoids that gives Luna its colour and your skin something it can actually use to repair overnight.

Gujarat, India
From the babchi plant. The closest a botanical gets to retinol without the dryness, which is why we put it in the morning serum instead. Slow, gentle, and patient with skin that hates surprises.
What we leave out

A small manifesto
We believe skincare is not a race to perfection. It is a slow, ordinary kindness you offer your face, the way you water a plant or open a window in the morning. Nothing more, and nothing less.
Maren and Léa, founders

The three step ritual
On skin still damp from cleansing. Press in, do not rub. Take ten seconds. This is the moment you decide what kind of day your skin is going to have.
Rosa Reviving Serum
While skin is still warm from the serum. Smooth it from the centre of your face outward. The cream is doing the work of holding the serum in place, not the other way around.
Hyaluron Lock Cream
A small spatula tip, warmed between your palms for three seconds, then pressed over cheekbones and around your eyes. Three nights a week is plenty. More is not better.
Luna Restoring Balm
In their words
I have spent more money than I want to admit on serums that sat on my shelf unused. The Rosa is the first bottle in years I have actually finished. Skin feels calm in the morning instead of tight. That is the whole point, isn't it.

Camille Bouchard
Antwerp · Rosa Reviving Serum
What sold me was the back of the bottle. Eight ingredients, all things I could look up. No miracle claims, no scientific sounding words. It is just a good cream that does what a good cream should do. Three months in, my face is quieter.

Anouk Vermeer
Utrecht · Hyaluron Lock Cream
I bought the Luna balm thinking I would only use it in winter and now I reach for it most nights. The smell is the right kind of nothing. It does not argue with my other products, it does not sting, it just sits there doing its quiet work.

From the journal

A short note on the long list of things we do not use, and why the absence of synthetic fragrance is the kindest thing we can do for sensitive skin.
March 2026

Why serum goes before cream, why damp skin matters more than you think, and why most of us are doing the last step at the wrong time of night.
February 2026

A field note from our formulator's last trip to Isparta, on petals picked before sunrise, the smell of the still, and why we have not found a faster way.
